Balance Shaft Bearing Question

I had an idea and was wondering if anyone else had tried this. I am doing a balance shaft elimination and was going to turn the balance shaft bearings 180 degrees and port the oil filter housing, but I was wondering if anyone ever tried to just drill a small hole in the bearings, smaller than the stock sized ones, because that would lower the oil pressure, but would it make it too low? Let me know what you think of it. I was just curious.

Yep thats what I do to every motor I've built. It doesnt harm a thing. rotating the bearing 180 degrees has the same effect and putting a full bearing in.

and NO dont drill any holes in the bearing. that oil passage needs to be blocked or your oil pressure will plummet due to shooting all of he pressure through the gaping hole.
