I got killer deal on baer brakes so I just wanted to know what people think about them. I know they use 13 inch rotors, but they are still dual piston calipers. how do people like them? any problems with cracking or warping? what pads do you guys use? corvette stock replacements? or performance pads?

I love mine, I had two other upgraded brake "kits" before the baers and these worked the best as far as ease of install and operation.

I have the 13" track kit and am using just the pads that came with them.

No cracking or warping here and a couple times I've stood on them pretty hard, as long as you drive after that so they can cool properly then you are ok.

Another important thing to remember is that you can only stop as fast as your tires can grip.

One thing you do not want to do is over tighten the the bolts into the aluminum bracket (the bracket that holds the calipers). I overtightened mine and it stripped the bracket I had to get a new one and swap them. I used red loctite the second time around and just hand tightened them.
