ok it never did this until the other day. i was coming home from work and the car started overheating really bad on the high way. I came up on traffic and had to slow down and as soon as it got under 2k it just shut off and wouldnt start back up. I was steaming pretty bad. So i pushed it off to the side of the high way and sat for about a half an hour trying to start it every once in a wwhile. I guess it finally cooled down enough to turn over, but it would only turn over while standing on the gas and once it does, even though my foots to the floor, it struggles at idle for about a minute until it finally revs then you have to keep it away from idle for a while so it doesnt shut off. after about another minute or so it will idle fine until it overheats again. Now this is how every start up is. I'm ripping my hair out at this point. Can anybody help me?

That sounds like a compound problem to me. It could be two different things, like a vac leak combined with a bad water pump etc, etc. have you ruled out anything so far?
