2G Bad O2 sensors?

My idle is very poor lately and all I smell is gas while cruising and my exhaust is just covered in black soot. I started a log in ECU+ last night and noticed today that both my o2 sensors weren't doing much. The front ranges from 2-6 volts and the rear just cycles between 1 and 2 volts. Any ideas?

The front ranges from 2-6 volts

2-6 volts?! For a stock narrow-band sensor? Are you sure? They should swing between 0 and 1 volt. If you are seeing 6 volts you have an electrical problem or aren't reading something correctly.
