Resolved Number and location of O2 sensors?

on a 2g TSi, how many O2 sensors are there? 1 before the cat and one after or just one before?

It has 2 of them. One is just after the turbo and the other is after the cat.

so if I gut or remove the cat, I guess it runs a good chance of throwing a cel then by having that second one?

The purpose of the second O2 is to give your ecu feedback of whether the Catalytic Converter is working properly
