i was driving yesterday and my cel came on. i checked my pocketlogger and i said knock sensor bank 1 or something. i cleared the code. i have read in the other threads that its not good to drive with a bad knock sensor. so i think i should change it. where can i buy one and how do i change it?

It is pretty simple to change. It is threaded into the back of the block under the intake manifold and only has on connector that is clipped to the brace that holds the intake manifold. You can either get it from a dealer, parts store, or get a used one off here or dsmtrader. If you have to you can drive with a bad sensor just be careful when driving. Your car will probably have no power anyways from lack of timing but taking away too much timing can lead to detonation.

almost in the middle of the block you can see it if you're under the car 'm unsure of the size might be a 22 or bigger not to sure but its easy to change.
