Just got my talon running, and was doing some logging. My ECMLink was throwing a “Knock sensor circuit” code. Turns out the wiring was messed up, but I fixed it and that cleared the code.

Here is what has me confused. I’m not throwing codes anymore, but my log shows 0% KnockRet for the entire test drive (which seems wrong to me).

I assume it would throw a code if the knock sensor was faulty…

Any ideas?

My logs almost always show 0 knock. That’s what you want. It’s a good thing
Yeah I just didn’t think it was likely, but hopefully that’s the case.

Check the sensor, or the ecu has a issue.
Not the ecu, because before I rebuilt the head the knock detection worked fine and showed in my logs. If the sensor was faulty wouldn’t it throw a code?

When do you typically see knock? I’m still on break in for rod bearings, so I haven’t gone above 50% throttle and waste-gate pressure of 5psi.
