bad idle

Ok so here's the deal I put a new head on my car with manly springs and 274/274 cams and my car doesn't like to idle any suggestions

Check your timing, boost leak test, wire order.

Honestly the first thing that jumped in my head is that is the cams idle characteristics. But what exactly do you mean by bad idle? Could you post a vid?

What I mean by bad idle is sometimes it will idle around 900 and other times it will go between 100 to 300. I can post a video right now cause the only internet I have is on my phone

How are you tuning your car, those wont run like stock cams.

I don't have anything to tune with my belt snapped and trashed my old head and got a.real good deal on this one but it should still idle above 300 rpms

Have you did research on upgraded cams something else is going on, then, i would go back to stock simplest solution it seems.

Well I'm leaning towards a boost leak cause the boast gauge is never still it just twitches across the gauge

Its kinda rough to diagnose without a tuning device. The ecu is going to have a rough time recoginozing and compensating for the situation. I would do a BLT and go from there. If the problem still persist I would go back to stock cams until you have a way to tune.
