ok well im doing this post all over again because for some reason this site thinks im still new and didnt post anything the first time....
anyways my name is josh and im a really cool dude... i owned a eclipse since i turned 15 and bought all of them on my own. granit i never did the work on them because i always had the money from jobs to be able to pay for everything but now i am taking it to a new level and wanting to learn everything and anything that i possibly can bout my DSM's... Currently i own a 93 panda gsx. i has a 6 bolt swap with a evo III 16g turbo and manual boost contoller and a few aftermarket gauges.. i love my cars and will never part with them.. currently my car is haveing problems but i guess i cant really post them in the newbie section soo im gonna post them some where else ... if you guys have any questions please feel free to write in this or shoot me a message because im always willing to meet new people and learn thanks DSMers

basically to wrap it up in a nut shell i beleive that cylinder three is shot due to bad rings.. but i am on a christmas budget for my money ### i jus got laid off from my job and there is no other places hiring in my little town so now i need to figure out the cheapest way to do this. but im sure its rings because when me and my gf tried to start it up a couple days ago it barely wanted to in the first place and once she finally kicked on i had to stay on the gas to keep her running once i did left of the clutch and gas she immideatly shut down. now my gf did say i was blowing smoke seriously bad but i asked her what color and her response was idk

See if your parts store will rent you a compression tester, and run the test on all 4 cylinders. It could be something simple, you won't know until you test it.

Make it easier on the people trying to read this and use proper spelling, grammar, etc.

Did you do a compression/leakdown test? That'll help determine whether it be your rings, valves, etc.
Are you burning oil or losing coolant?

Why do you think it's cyl. #3 that's the cause of it?

burning oil i was told you always burn oil in a turboed vehicle i could be wrong.... and yes when i was working at a subaru dealership i did do a compression and if im thinking right it was 101 in cylinder three and i closed the valves and it poured through.... and the rest were low as well but it was like 140 across the board.. and no im not loosing any coolant.. and sorry about not typing right.. its a bad habbit but im trying so please work with me.. i might mess up every now and then ...
