Alright. DSM issues is becoming all to common for me, which sucks.
Here's the history on my DSM.
It's a 6 bolt swap into a 2g. Forged pistons/rods, block has been completely redone as well as being bored over .020. my head was sent to the shop as well to be looked at, disassembled and then reassembled with the same parts. (It had zero tun time on a rebuild).
I have no way to tune it yet. We just installed (Sunday)a walbro 255 pump and evo 560 injectors, which didn't work. So we put the 450 stock injectors back in today (Monday). My turbo is a used stock 14b (not eBay). I do have an aftermarket afpr, wideband.
We just replaced the timing belt and tensioner because the tensioner was failing and stretched the belt. (Done 2 days ago, Saturday)
So now here's the new issue. A friend of mine mentioned 2 weeks ago that we were smoking out of the tail pipe. We my husband just took it for a test drive after installing the 450 injectors again and low and behold, smoking like a pig.
I have no oil hitting the ground and nothing is looking freshly wet. So now our assumption is it's the turbo or possibly valve guides. What do you all think?
