Hello all. Sold my last dsm about a year ago at an awesome price, the build was 0 to midnight. I have been trolling around for a gsx and I finally found one.

The gst was fun and cool, but it wasn't the best of the best, and that's what I wanted to build, so I finally got a gsx and have some big plans on body, suspension, engine, and looks.

Will post up some pics after dinner, it's good to be back with the dsm team!!!!

LOL and of corse a typo in the title, guess my fat fingers are still fat.

Can a mod change the build name to gsx instead of hex hahahahahaha
Thx

And behold. 6bolt swap and ecm link included "so I am told" will be able to get into it this weekend and find out more details soon

So. Some Pretty cool updates.
Pulled the ecu today and confirmed it has ecmlink, put the entire interior back together and got extra parts and panels she needed from the junk yard and have a gage pillar on the way to fix the janky ass one in the car, so the interior is totally done beside the new seats I want.

So overall I need a few major things to make the run properly again. Pic for now and more to come soon.

My friend came over and plugged into the ecmlink, looks like its all messed up and not tuned at all, looks like 650 injectors and wideband and omni sensor already installed, the car has either a parasitic drain from somewhere or a bad battery or bad battery relocation wires to the trunk, the issue is that when it is jump started if fires right up, and says running even with no battery plugged in, so i do not think its an altinator issue " surprisingly", will be running some tests this weekend to find the real issue, also the ass hat who had this car before me installed a nice radiator, but cut the wires and set a hard wire switch to trun on the fans manually, some pretty janky business. but all in due time everything will be fixed and done correctly.

lastly, i got my c pillar gage pod in the mail, so i will also be relocating the gages and re installing the factory vent in the center dash so it doesnt looks stupid. slow, but progress none the less

thx!!! yeah my gst was fun and quick, went and saw my friends gsx project and decided to sell the gst and wait for a decent project gsx. super stoked, just need to get some kinks worked out

removed the janky ass fan switch in the car and i am almost done wiring the fans properly through the oem relay, thanks to a buddy and this forum is was pretty simple

Awesome progress man. My gst turns put to be a major project. But oh well, at least it will be done right!

so a friend of mine has provided me with a very unique opportunity.

He owns an art studio and has a number of key artists who want to do a sharpie art deco project, they elected my car, the plan is a japo new and old school theme, black on white, the project deadline is 4/10/16, so i will be moving like a mad man getting the car ready for this project and finding or building a mobile paint booth to clear coat the car after the artwork has been applied.

if anyone can help me with this it would be a huge help to me and the gsx project, i am in portland or

the new front bumper came in yesterday and i will be gathering the rest of the parts i need to have the car ready for this car art deco project this weekend, the deadline isnt far away so i will be throwing everything i have at this over the next few weeks to make sure the project goes smoothly for the exterior designing of the car, this changes the plan a little bit. at first i was looking into general drivability and maintaining the car while looking into small upgrades towards some things to compliment the car.

now i will be really focusing on the exterior, this gsx is not nearly as bad as my last gst project so i think i can hit my 4/10/16 deadline and have her ready. pics to come soon.

The car art project has been pushed back to 4/17/16, but on a lighter note i finally have all the ext parts i need to make the outside ready and perfect, I will be grabbing my factory oem paint this weekend and will start prepping the parts for paint and clear and install this weekend, finished re wiring the fans and some other misc stuff last weekend and they work perfectly.

this upcoming weekends to do list will include.

Sideskirt prep and paint.
Front bumper prep and paint.
clear coat all newly painted parts.
relocate battery back to factory location from the spare tire bay in the hatch.
Prep cf hood for install.
relocate air/fuel/boost gages to the new c pillar gage pod and replace the center ac vents back to stock.
Install the new passenger airbag.

call it a day and have some fun at pir after that.

and a Big thanks to the friends in portland and in dsmtuners for all there help so far for all the help and parts i bought, you all kick butt :)

So... The car art part got pushed back again, but we have made progress on the auto body.

She had a total of twelve dents that have been fixed and repaired, everything was block and sold sanded after a second highbuild primer spray.

Did the first two coats very lightly, will be doing more coats and final clear coat soon.
