also besides this problem...how much do you like your B&M...I'm thinking of getting one. Did it shorten the shift a lot and how did it feel before this problem...were the shifts tight (if that makes sense) and did it shift any easier...sometimes when my engine is cold it doesn't even want to go into gear...and when its off I cant seem to get it in 5th...it just wont go in...but I have no tranny problems...like nothing wrong with synchros and no grinding noises when I shift

It is, but I had one(B&M) in my car 2g talon, and the shifter was very short compared to stock, but during the higher rpm's even the lower ones it was so hard to get into gear(I took it out and sold it ). Actaully it was a Bit$h to. I would just get the stabilizer kit like symborski shift kit which eliminates the play of the shifter. http://www.machv.com/symshifkit1.html But yeah short shifter suck IMO.![]()
