I don't look like an ass, I look like a guy who has owned both, and can 100% accurately say there is a difference in them. No one cares that you and your friend have driven each others car. Enjoy your junky and non-precise shifter. I will continue to steer people to buy a quality product.

You shouldn't assume though cause it makes you look like an ass. I'm just trying to give your bias self a suggestion.

Oh and I buy quality parts, probably of higher quality than anything on your DSM but I'm not going to sit here and measure dick sizes.

Do you know what the word "bias" means?

I have owned and experienced both for countless miles. You have owned 1 and experienced another (assuming it even was a real B&M in your buddies car) infrequently.

You are biased.

Also look into the Hurst short throw too. Hurst and B&M are the same company. I have a B&M in one car and a Hurst in the other (both '95 turbo'd cars) they were exactly the same, well not exact the colors were different. But felt exactly the same. I also recommended it to a friend for his 420A and he loved the damn thing to death.

Where can I see this hurst shifter? I did a google search and found Mitsubishi Eclipse 1995-1999 Short Throw Shifter by KS - SSH-EC95C
that dont look like the B&M ebay knock off, just curious if its the right one.

Also I have the ebay knock off. Today I was driving and I went to put it into 2nd gear and i heard a clunk and the shifter is all wobbly now. Imagine being in neutral how you can have free motion. Well it does that in all gears now and it makes it very hard to shift. I took apart my console and some how it has come loose. Installing the thing was very difficult, the bolt that holds it tight didnt even fit. So anyone have a better solution? I am going to throw this one in the trash.
