Axle keeps popping out of tranny

i recently bought a 91 talon and the axle popped out the day i got it and it destroyed the cv joint. i had it fixed and then it happend 2 days after it was fixed. i took the tire off and noticed the suspension cradle had a splt in it and appeared as if it was put into a ditch. the guy i bought it off of payed for the garage fee to replace the axle the first time and will pay this time. he said his son put the car into a bank but drove it the next day and the axle broke on him. could the impact to the cradle from the bank have messed up the angles from everything? im replacing the cradle but wanted to ask if the load to the right front of the car during cornering be too much with that bent and cause the axle to give from all the pressure. thanks ahead.
 
I don't think anyone actually re-conditions them for re-sale.

find one from a parts car. If you want you can clean,sand, and prime and maint, but it's not really something that's visible. just wipe the grease off of it.

I don't think it's considered something that really wears, but it is replaced on colisions or accidents.
 
how much are reman crossmembers?

oh im sorry i meant reman axle. the crossmembers are just something you'd have to come across in a junk yard. i paid 200 i think and that was just to go pick it up, they already had it pulled and everything, game me an extra set of control arms too
 
i didnt think they could fix a part of the frame and remanufacture it. ill have my uncle get the control arm as well. they are quite expensive from the parts store anyway.
 
nope, cant remanufacture them, especially the way ive seen a couple break including mine, they tend to split from the hole that the steering column goes through all the way down to the bottom. makes for an interesting drive home let me tell ya
 
So basically what you're saying here is that it would be possible to R&R an axle without taking anything apart. Sounds rather rediculous to me.

Personally, I don't care how you think it sounds. It is fact. When your taking it out, your not going to have half as much force going against it as when it is spinning ang it come flying out of the transmission.

If you don't believe what I'm saying and want proof to believe it, go take one of your c-clips of one of the axles and see what happens.
