1G AWD Tranny use as FWD?

Hi
Im wondering if i can use the AWD Tranny as a FWD one?
Im just making a engine and AWD system Swap and im looking to install the tranny as FWD untli i make the other work to instal de AWD System

Not without making changes to lock the center diff (spool or welded diff). Without that the transmission will attempt to send power to the missing rear until it cause the center diff VCU to lock up and potentially damage it.

As @steve said, spool/welded center diff. Can also make a viscous coupler eliminator out of an old VCU. You'll want to leave the t-case output shaft in place or appropriately plug the hole if you remove it, though I'm a firm believer in leaving it in to help support the other pieces.
