AWD to FWD back to AWD questions.

Ok long story short I have cluttered this forum with questions about transmissions lately.
My talon was switched from AWD to FWD with all non turbo shuff.
I will be switching the car back to AWD.
The transmission and transfer case should be picked up this friday. my main questions left are will my cv shafts work? The transmission that just came out of my car was from a non turbo FWD 1989 galant. I am picking up a transmission and transfer case from a 1990 talon TSI, which is what my car is.
I already know the flywheels are different.
I already have my Stage 3, 6 puck clutch.
but will my cv shafts fit?
and what other parts will be needed?

I really need to know about the cv shafts being the same or different...

ok so the cv joints are different, the flywheel is different.
Is there anything else that will turn this into a bigger headache?

and yes I will be getting all these parts from him as long as their good..


Anytime Friday is fine for me, I am off work on friday as well. The driver side cv axles are different. I have the intermediate shaft part somewhere in my garage or shed if you don't have that part. The outer cv shaft you'll probably have to pick up at a parts store.

Just wanted to make sure we're in agreement on the price. I'll let the Transmission and transfer case go for 200 cash. I can throw in the intermediate shaft for another 10 bucks if you need that too. Dont forget the AWD and FWD flywheels are different. Let me know if you need one of those I think I still have one floating around. I can probably let you have a flywheel for about 15 bucks if you need one.
