Press the brake and hold then press gas your car should hold still while keeping a high rev then release the brake and stomp the gas.
Watch doing this as this causes the tranny to slip and will lead to tranny problems later watch out and dont do it long youll over heat the tranny that is bad. you can do this in any gear.

I answered your question. I typed "auto launch" into the search and those are the results I got back. Each post describes how to launch an automatic awd car.

launch an auto? put the shifter into N. step on the gas. and rip the shifter back into 1 or L (never been in an auto dsm) just like any auto car.

Also referred to as "neutral drop". This is effective YET put alot of strain on the transmission. I have a friend who did this for a bit, well his car was back in the dealership, replacing the tranny after about a month. I would stick to brake boosting...

Ouch dude... Do I taste a hint of hostility? I say break boosting helps a lot... I've done it a couple of times in mine and I launch off the line better than my friends w/manual drivetrains.
