I opened up the box for my autometer electric oil pressure gauge and noticed not everything that is needed for the installation came with the kit. So my question is what do i have to buy/name of the thing that goes from the oil sender to the oil gauge and where could i pick one up? Thanks

Are you talking about wire? The only thing my gauge didn't come with was the wire.

The "wire" or whatever that goes from the pressure sender to the gauge. Not the ground and positive wire. I just read the manual and it says that autometer sells stainless lines with 1/8 npt male fitting and comes with 1/4" npt adapter. Should i just buy this from autometer or could i find it some place else?

If you have an electric gauge and an electric sender, you just use 18 gauge electrical wire. What is the model number of your gauge?

why does the part # matter?
Part number always matters in auto parts sales.....

I just wanted to check to make sure your particular gauge kit was not supposed to come with any wiring. I checked all my 7127's here and none of them have wiring either. As GVR4592 had already stated, the instructions state to use 18 gauge wire.

I have a autometer oil gauge i want to remote mount the sending unit i think i can use a short bit of SS brake line like and mount the gauge on rubber. what i need to know is what is the thread of the stock gauge so i can get a T and set everything up before i take the car apart i went to go put the gauge in last time i was doing the oil change and the threads did not match so i had to put the stock one back in so i want to set it up before i try and put it together and need to know the size of the stock location or should i use one of the plugs in the housing.
