So installing my gauges today on the Spyder.

I have all the wiring done and hooked up. Ran gauge illumination off the dimmer so they turn on with lights and dim with it.

Ran a add-a-fuse thingy from the fuse box (used the cig lighter spot) for 12v Ignition to the oil pressure gauge and water temp gauge. Grounded those two gauges that use 12v Ignition to the chassis inside the car. Also for added insurance, I grounded the oil pressure sender by soldering on a lead and grounding it to the chassis as well, since I did not ghetto rig it and try to thread 1/8npt into BSPT port, so since its not connected directly to the OFH it needs to ground somewhere.

Now when I turn on ignition, the oil pressure sweeps to full 100psi and stays there. This is NOT turning over the motor, just keying to ignition to check wiring. Is it supposed to peg full until it sees actual oil pressure (IE I start the motor) or should I check the ground?

Ive yet to fill oil/coolant and buttoning up some other things, so figured id post to see if anyone knows. Water temp gauge pops up a bit but doesnt peg like the oil pressure gauge does.

Nevermind. Figured out i plugged in the ignition and sender wires backwards LOL. I dummie'd.
