So here is the deal. I'm sure I need a new solenoid. I plan to replace them all for added insurance. I currently have the solid red wire coming from the lock up solenoid which I read is for the early transmissions. Should I change to the one supposedly for my car or put it back the way its always been? I was wondering also if anyone knew how to figure out exactly what year this transmission is from? Thanks for the help.
