Is there any final drive ratio's that can be swapped from various Mitsubishi cars using the F4A22 transmission? Looking to get better pulls off idle.

If you're AWD then changing the final drive in the trans means you also need to change the rear gears to match.

This is a fwd non turbo car, just looking for a deeper gear ratio for better pulling in rural areas and hwy passing

It's looking like 2g automatic non turbo cars have a deeper 3.42 ratio vs 3.07 ratio in the 1g version, i see lot's of various turbo manual transmission and automatic transmission ratio's up to a 5.13

Yes, you own a f4a22 tranny?

Clutch?

itp and one other company sells a hi performance clutch kit and is around $600 for the kit
I only found for Mitsubishi / DSM applications- W4A33, F4A33, F4A21,23,23 and KM175 Series transmissions on the IPT page

I don't know what transmission you have then because the only transmissions i mess with is the f4a22 and 33 automatic and i have one spare manual transmission. Maybe some of these guy's in the forum may know more
