Autocross Turbo Choices

Hey guys. It's been a while since i've been on here. I decided to put the Jeep aside and get back to the talon. What is the best autocross turbo I should be running? I have the basics: full exhaust, air intake, bov, upper intercooler pipes, and plugs/wires. I would like to keep the stock side mount if possible or atleast keep it for a few till I get more cash funds. I dont care about high hp or top end. I'm looking at the T28 or a 16g somewhere in that range. Any suggestions would be great thanks guys!

What mods are you running with it? I'll probably replace the turbo and get a boost controller at the same time. I'm looking for high low/mid range power for autocross and a little more power than stock for the strip.

Are you just looking to have fun in autox or potentially be competitive? If competitive, you need to look at the classes and see where you want to be racing. This can drastically alter a plan of action.

^^ agreed. but if your not looking to get competitive any of the small turbos (ie. small 16g-E3 16g, or a t-28) that way you will have great spool up with decent top end still

I will be autocrossing my elcipse with a S16g this year. The spool up should be close to stock with a better pull. Just because you have a smaller turbo doesn't mean that you can't be competitive. Driving skills have a huge impact as well.

If you upgrade your turbo your gonna be in an insanely hard class to compete in FYI. If your just out to have fun then a small 16g or 14b would be perfect for you.
