Auto Trans Not Shifting!

Hi. I've been reading a lot nobody has similar issues as me. I have NO reverse from park or neutral BUT if I go straight to reverse from.drive or a gear it goes in. I have 1st 2nd and 3rd OD is like neutral is just revs. This is a know good transmission. OEM mitsu fluid. The fluid Level is perfect. Has IPT rear clutches. I'm stumped.

Ik this is old but I’m having the same issue but when I’m driving it’s like My car won’t shift automatically its like its stuck in 4th or 3rd gear I have to keep my RPMs low to not redline I can shift to park, reverse and neutral cleanly but put it in drive it’s like it starts on 4th or 3rd gear. I have no CEL, there’s a nasty burn smell when driving it around 40mph but when I’m coming to a stop and stop accelerating there’s no Downshifting I shift it to 2nd and low gear nothing works please help I check trans fluid it’s good I check TCM idk if that could be it by the way I took it off easily. I’ll take pics of it
