AUTO to 5SPD *Wiring* Under Pedal *PICS

A few months ago I swapped over a auto tranny to a 5spd one.
When I picked up the clutch pedal, I seen that there is a "button" on the back side of the pedal with a wiring conn on it. *When pressing pedal is hits botton* (button 2)



Also seen the same button on the top of the pedal. (it touchs top botton when not pressing pedal) Button1




Do I have to wire them up?

i did a 1g swap and the only wire i hooked up under there was for the brake light. that is the switch so you have to start the car with the clutch in. it does not need to be hooked up

right on, don't worry about that switch, it only makes it so you have to start the car with the clutch in

The other button is to disable cruise control when clutch pedal pressed. Don't need if don't want.
