Auto to 5 speed swap

Ok like the title says im doing a 5 speed swap I have everything and have done my research very well, but the only problem is I cant find a turbo tranny but have access to n/a trannys can I use them on a fwd tsi? I know there weaker but if I go easy on it till I can find a turbo trans can I go it or is it just worthless? O BTW 1g fwd Just to make it clear I have checked this site cant find the info I have also checked vfaq's and many other dsm forums as well nobody seems to give me the correct answer.

i know there are a few guys out there who drop evo 8/9 in 2gnt eclipses mated with 4g64 spyder transmissions not exactly sure how long those lasted in there though, and im not too savy on 1gs, but my opinion would be to just wait for a turbo trans so you dont have to do it twice.

i cant see it exactly hurting anything. I mean, other than the possibility of burning up a n/t trans. who knows, it may last as long as you have the car?!?

OK cool thank you guys I can care less if it holds up I just wanna get on the street if it last a month ill be happy im only running 15lbs of boost anyway.
