420A ATX Transmission won't shift

I got a 1999 eclipse RS that just had a engine put in because the last one was blown. Everything's been put back together and the car starts, but no gears work except for park. Any ideas as to why? Thanks

Does it have fluid?

Check transmission fluid put it up on a stand and let it run for awhile in gear. If it still isnt moving check your shift linkage thats a major problem that comes up alot. If its super dirty transmission fluid change the transmission fluid and filter because if its clogged it will not allow an auto to go into gear.
