Heres the rear deck cargo thingy i made for my rear seat replacement .. as you can see i havent gotten around to removing the seat belts yet. Soon i will be making a cooresponding peice for the back hatch so that it is all flush and black carpet. My interior will soon all be black as well.

It took me a day to do .. due to the ### curves in the body panels .. and it turned out really good . It only takes about 3 min to remove and is held in place by 2 screws that slide down in holes allowing me to lift it up and down. Its sturdy as hell too .. i can lay on it without any problems what so ever.

This is exatly how I have my Schroth harnesses mounted. I got mine from www.subesports.com though......

thats what I was thinking of one night and wasnt sure if that would work because its off to the side whereas typically they are straight back.

These harnesses are awesome. They fit great and they look great. They have an OEM style buckle, so there is no "hassle" in using them. My only complaint is price. I think I paid like $280 + shipping. But, as always, you get what you pay for. I still retain the back seat and it is useable. I have used it, but for the most part, I keep passengers out of the back. I installed these in a B18C Civic that I helped build, and my buddy (fertez_turbo) uses these in his 1G, and we'll be installing them on a 93 RX7 TT next week. I'll try to get some pics of the mounting on my 2G.
