That's true, I have close to 12k in this one with the jdm swap/build/trans I know i'll be lucky to get half of that out of it but it if comes to it, that's about what i'll end up asking for it.

So my Hallman Pro MBC FINALLY came in (dam holidays) and WOW! Ill I can say is going from the stock wastegate pressure, 8 psi to 14 psi with the 16g is an insane difference! I actually feel like my car isn't lame and slow anymore LOL. :thumb:

Time for a fuel pump, injectors, and tune. . . :banghead:

Finally getting the 57 Ford to the house the day after Christmas.

The wife's not to happy but I sure as hell am :thumb:

Ok guys i have an issue... im running no temp sensors but a manual gauge and my car dies after i hammer on it and let off... any suggestions drives fine and good but just at a loss for this... i might be needing to get it tuned soon but i gotta get a cheap wideband first

Mine does that if my idle is too low. I thin it's cause of my cams. If you can, turn your idle to about 1k-1100rpm

Fixed my heat. Rats nest in my fan blade... Along with a bunch of leafs.

I tried turning the idle up to 1100 and it still dies after she warms up to operating temp... Is there a possibility that its because im not running a temp sensor? anyone got dsmlink and wanna look it over? I already got a socketed pcm...

I have link, I can look at it. I have to let mine warm up before I can drive it. It misfires way to bad when cold. I put a new coolant temp sensor in it too.

The 2g Eclipse's and talons have two coolant sensors, one for the ECU to read and one for the dash gauges. If the one that goes to the gauge is out (the one angled downwards (smaller one)) is out then it wouldn't effect anything but you not being able to see how hot or cold your car is. The CTS tells the ECU to dump a certain amount of fuel at a given temp. That's one reason when your car is cold it should idle higher (richer) then normal until it reaches its preferred temperature. I don't THINK your car can run without it.

I think your right chad. Cause I got the block off plate for the bottom of the throttle body to get rid of the Fast idle air valve but can still use my biss screw. I don't have the temp sensor for my gauge or my ecm in the car. looks like someone cut the connector off the harness and put the manual gauge where the ecm sensor went. If you got a link can you tune it out to act like its warm all the time? basically take it from open to close looped or visa versa like I could with hondata?

You can make it run in closed loop all the time but it's not recommended. There is an option where you can make it add certain amount of fuel per coolant temperature, so you could make it think it's at that temp. All the time. Not sure how the car would act though.

Post me a log from being as cold as it can get to all the way warmed up. If it can make it there just idling.

i don't have dsm link yet im actually switching out my ecm this week so I can take mine down to a buddy that does computer based soddering and stuff he said he could hook me up on a quick sodder. from there I will at least be able to have someone hook up to it.

I'm a manager at a highend hotel so it's not cash issues. I really don't want to sell it that's why it's a "might" but I need something. . . ya know, that doesn't breakdown every few days and can still make it out of the snow and ice. I'm really kicking myself in the ass on this one cause i've had this one for years.

so your basically trying to find an evo :D

I've had an Evo and a 2.5RS impreza and the boxer engine just sounds all kinds of sexy. I might end up getting another evo one day but for now i'm keeping the DSM.

BTW, if anyone tells you a JDM VR4 6bolt swap is relieable (more so the the USDM setup) they're full of shit. Everything will break when you put down over 300-ish hp.

There is a guy that have a Evo8 that wants 10k for his because he destroyed the trans or something, it's just locked in gear while it's running. I haven't looked at it and I have a feeling he has no idea whats wrong.

The Sti is sexy and all but after the 2001 model RS Impreza, the looks just aren't for me. I miss that old 22b style the impreza had.

I would like something 4 door. It's either that or an R1. Which is the best bang for the buck. But it will bite the inexperience. Good thing I had a 600-750 and the ERC and MSRC.

I would like an 06 ish blue with gold rally wheels. And the giant spoiler on the back LOL. Just throw minor mods on it and have fun
