I always take mine to an exhaust shop for exhaust work... my guy in Judsonia makes it all. on my last dsm he did the downpipe with an aftermarket wastegate flange and fabbed it into my exhaust. did my 3 inch all the way back with room for my wideband and a muffler. no emissions stuff either. he does awesome work...
 
Short update...Damn, it's been too long. Turbo finally ate a coupler and I had to pull it out of the TB on the side of the road, I really have no clue how that happened. I really wanna get out for a drive every now and then but work and the weather is killing that.

When are we all going to find a location and have a AR-DSM cook-out and meet?

Not anytime soon! 9 degrees right now! Lol

Nine degrees, I want some of that heat. It was showing -1 at my house and i'm not talking windchill.

Yeah, you called it. It's only half the side of the damn engine after all. I just really didn't think it was going to pull the coupler off the hardpipe and into the TB like it did. I'm only running 15lb off the wastegate spring. Although they were just about gone anyway.
 
Just got home after a 16 hour shift, check engine light came on and the dsm runs even better (thinking the TB or something) even pulled a truck out of the mix. Today is a good day.
 
LS1 world is nice and all but I'll kick it back in the 4G63 world that has a tendency to eat LS1s all day long.

Let me just hide that MAF, some corvette is missing, that i'm using.
 
1 - DSMs get that leg up with a good launch and top end. :p put suspension and grip on said LS1 and a cam, DSMs south of a tuned 20g setup won't be an issue. Now...this summer when these turbos go on this old LS1...can't wait for that.

2 - We need pictures of this gvr4.

Galant Gvr4 all wheel drive and all wheel steering. -29th of 1000-

If you are looking for practical awd four door sports car and don't want a price of an evo, this Galant will fit the bill. Came across this car 2 months ago and bought it. My intend was not to keep the car but to turn around and sell it for small profit. I don't have the space nor time to enjoy this car. Having two DSM isnt enough but having 3 maybe too much. Anyways, she needs a good home.

Price is $4500 but make me an offer. I know most of you guys on here and i can make you a deal. Enjoy...

You say no cracks in leather so what is with the black tape on the rear seats? Was something mounted there?

I'm running a built/tuned 6262 and now that the turbo doesn't want to eat everything from the front bumper back, it could be fun to run with your LS. Had one in a 240sx some years ago and you're right they can put down some good power and grip (albeit the base car it's in) Love to see some turbos on yours. Drop me some pictures if you don't post it on the forum here.

As for that sexy ass GVR4, someone buy my 1g so I can pick it up.... i'm running a jdm gvr4 soul under the skin of the 1g but four doors just have that appeal to it.

Yup there is a teddy bear mounted between the back seats. look closely on other pic. the guy had it before me had kids.

Guys I am having a hard time starting my eclipse. it just cranks and cranks no start. I can smell the fuel, it got fuel but other than that idk what it could it be. I check all the wiring harness plugs to make sure its all connect and it has.

But when I look at the link I notice when I crank the car the RPM never come up. is it suppose to have some kind of a value in the rpm when cranking?

I am pretty noob when it comes to link. I am still learning. Ill post a log.

Check for fire, pull the plug wire out (not all the way) and see if it's zapping around to the plug. Or take an old plug and put on the end of the wire and ground it and see if it sparks.

Ah we all know DSMs pull some amazing stunts in the power world. There's just always been something alluring to me about the LSx series. I have absolutely no complaints with leaving DSMs behind (for now) and seating myself in the cockpit of this catfish. Absolutely love it. Only thing I -don't- like is the Richmond gearset in the rear. Loud as hell even when setup spot-on perfectly. Gonna have to go with a heavier weight gear oil to dampen the noise a bit more. Having the 3point body braces and Chassis-Mounted Torque Bar make the harmonics that much louder. Buuuut a couple of small turbo's would really wake er' up.

Jeeze. That's nice. -ponders- Wouldn't want to trade that out for a rustless, dentless, running 2G AWD with new Drive-Shaft, Rear End, Engine, 16g, and whatnot? :p Just has a boost leak.
