So I have been trying to upload photos for the past month and have failed miserably for some reason I don't know. Now I tried to change my avatar to the same pictures as I have been trying to post and can't but I did notice that it said at the bottom of the loading page 120-170 mp or 25 kb or smaller. That might be my problem. I have to quit taking such high def pics or have i uploaded to many photos in the past and my free membership status not good enough to cut the mustard?

Agreed, I love my photo bucket account. It makes it easier to organize and repost things. Also you can reorder copies for cheap. I like to print off my pictures and organize them in a build book for car shows.

well the I got a lot done today... got the new tranny prepped and ready to install deciding to put my full face xtd stage 3 clutch in instead of the sachs hd. Got to go get my transmission jack from the shop tomorrow. Flywheel is good and clutch assembly is mounted on it... my diy solid mount will be done tomorrow got em sitting in oven now... *sigh* big day tomorrow got to get one more output shaft seal and commence reinstall oh and gear oil to.... Does anyone know how much we take and what would be best? I was thinking royal purple.

Hopefully you got the captured sprung disk or went unsprung on the clutch itself. The XTD Stage 3 disk is hit and miss for the springs breaking/popping out, however, they have a revised version that you can ask for specifically with captured springs.

As for the fluid, We use 2-2 1/2 quarts. I recommend GM Syncromesh. Every other brand that I've tried save for one or two others that are order only have resulted in notchy gears or catches during High RPM shifts.

Vht looks good, did you bake it at all or going to do the on car method?

I baked the manifold the 3 different processes, the dump tube and o2 housing only got baked once due to a stupid oven. I'll finish them off with the car method.

I have actually been cleaning up the car as I wait for my next paycheck to a few more parts so I started hand cleaning everything. I even stripped, blasted, an painted all of the water and oil hard lines in the car with the Vht......I gotta get this back together before I start cleaning the inside of the block with a toothbrush since the pan is off....
