If you need assistance with dialing in your Throttle Body and adjusting it properly, shoot me a PM and I'll go over it with you. I'm almost intimate with them.

actually just got it figured out. I blocked of the fiav so I can still use the biss. I set it till the tip of the screw just touched the throttle and gave it 1 and a quarter turn. It idles awesome now.

Bobby I bought the entire gasket set from them when I did the white devil. I still have a spare ever green 1g head gasket in the talon all wrapped up. So idk, I had to take my IM manifold off and replaced it with a felpro it could have been just me and got it pinched when I put it back on. With a small bead of permatex to hold it.

And yes you have a gasket between your throttle body and IM also, I'm not 100% sure that 2gs have the elbow that bolts on to the TB make sure there is one there also.

Damn I need to tear this eclipse apart already..... Meh! Too cold!! I don't have a shop :( or a garage :( so I suckit in the summer and suckit in the winter.... And I doubt my boss would go for putting it in his shop either LOL

Bhhhhh

Might pick this 2000 Suzuki GSXR-750 up. I am trading my buddy's car who moved to Ohio. And he said he would take 1200$ for the bike. It needs paint, 25;000 miles and aftermarket yoshimura exhaust not bad. It does need a new seat though. Il to for a gel one ;)

Settled with the insurance. They are paying the fazer off and I'm getting just enough to buy that bike. Something I can have fun on until I get a New R1 (they have adjustable TC!!)

Hellyeah

Did you also ensure that the TPS voltage didn't change? That will cause more issues in the long run. Any time you adjust your Throttle Screw, you have to readjust your TPS.

Bobby, is the cam gears mark all a line? from the last pic i could see the cam gear mark on the left but not on the right cam gear. From my understanding the two mark should be mirror image of each other at 3 o'clock (left gear) and 9 o'clock (right gear). Is the head still on the block like that?

At TDC the notches line up.
The engine is upside down by the way.

Welp, the snow didn't hit as hard as I hoped it would. Wanted to take the Tahoe out and get into some trouble. Sadly the 4x4 works too well with the meaty tires packed under the lifted bastard, so I didn't loose enough traction to enjoy~

Furthermore - extremepsi sent me 2x 10mm Banjo Bolts instead of a 10mm and a 12mm for my Head and Turbo Feed. Hung is working with me to get this corrected, but dammit I wanted to get this done. =/

Well. It's really not that bad, but all the damn special tools to gotta buy, but I think il keep the cam sprocket holding bar. Looks pretty legit LOL.

I forgot what banjo bolt I had to replace on the white devil, I actually ordered it from Chrysler, but it took like a month to get there.

I also priced a stock 14b just for the fun of it. He laughed and said 1400$ but no one in the country has one LOL

You need a serious beater. As Luke about all the times he had to replace a ball joint in a customers route vehicle. And I know someone that gets flats almost every day! Good to see you gots a job. Hold on to those gas tickets!!

Ok. Bobby if you plan on doing the timing belt. Part number gates : 91008 for the sprocket bar. And oreillys number : 6486 for the cam holding tool. You could probably make the second tool with a flat piece of metal. The trick is you have to use the flat bar to hold the cams in time. Use the sprocket holder and loosen the cams off the sprockets so the sprockets spins freely of the cams. And when it all goes back together. You can actually turn the sprocket to get the slack on the tensioner side. Not really a bad idea

The flat bar needs to be 5mm thick, and approx. 180-230mm long and 20-30mm wide. Here's a pick

Wow so I finally pulled the head off in the garage this afternoon with the garage door closes and the gases that game out if the bolt holes is crazy awful smelling. I didn't notice it at first but the landlord knocked in the door and thought there was a natural gas leak LOL. They even called the gas company and he could smell it when he steppe outta the truck. Anyone els remember this smell? It's been so long since I pulled the head.

My wife is gonna be pissed when she gets home and smell the house LOL.

I found a few jeeps and a couple Subaru legacys. I WISH I could get a k-car from Japan. Like a mini pajero, basically a mini montero with a 660cc turbocharged engine and 4wd. They also get 60-70mpg
