Of course, Hopefully when I do it it is a nice solid 11, cause when I first broke into the 12's it was a 12.998. But then to be so stock engine wise and being a heavy AWD talon as oppossed to the FWD lite-weight advantage I'll Take any 11 I can muster.

GSntncT said:Dude, even us lighter FWD guys would take any 11sec 1/4 time we could get.
CycloneTSI said:Thats impressive. Do you use a wide band or stock O2 sensor?

GSntncT said:God, I never knew the 14b could support those kinds of runs.....It has to make you think why many of us have gone with 50 trims, or even larger turbos.
Whoa Whoa Whoa, easy does it dave, i recall matching your .50trim pumpgas time with my 14b pumpgas time with most full interior and wasn't much difference. Can't let that kinda talk leak on a 14b thread. But yeah the .50trim is CAPABLE of quick pumpgas times while a full weight dsm will max around mid 12's on pumpgas 14b.HighPSI TSi Guy said:so that we can be fast...
look at 50 trim times.. and look at 14b times...
a well tuned well driven 50 trim setup will run that on low boost and pump gas full weight.... they had to go on a diet and pay $8/ gallon to run those times... we fill up at the amoco and trap jsut as fast/faster
however it's still amaizing to see these guys get what they are out of the little guy

....now I remember why I loved that thing so much!Phil1320 said:Yeah...PB blaster is the way to go....one of the turbo bolts got chewed, but the turbine housing was fine after running a tap through it.....it's all done....both broken studs are removed from the head...they came out real easy with an easy out set. So, I should have no exhaust leaks now. I will dyno this Friday night pending no rain...going to get VP fuel this week. I'm hoping for 290-295HP and 275-280lb-ft. I dynoed and ran last time with boost set at 21 dropping to 18 or so. Didn't you dyno at 24 or something? I don't know if I will gain or not at that boost. Way back at Altered I was 257hp at 19psi, 263 at 20 psi, and 265.9 at 21. I didn't go any higher, of course I had stock injectors and no AFC at the time. I'll post the numbers if they are worth posting. Remember my last outing was 284.7hp at 5950rpm and 271lb.-ft. at 3450rpm. Those are the numbers to beat. We will see.
