Stock time runs?

I took my 92 Talon AWD to the track when it was stock, absolutely no mods and no weight reduction. I'm not a newbie, and I can drive well. The car went a best of 15.28 @ 88.65 with a madly slipping stock cluth, really crappy tranny and 125 to 135 compression across all 4 cylinders.

After adding a full 3" exhaust, KN filter, no aircan, Home Depot intake, ported turbo- manifold- O2 housing, fuel pump, clutch, tranny rebuild, new tires, boost controller, racegas, pocketlogger, 140 pounds of weight reduction, and other repairs I hit a best of 12.81 @ 106.4

does anyone know approx how a n/t 2.0 5spd eclipse should run??? i havent done so yet but i want to know avrg's so i wont expect too much out my first time

Ok, I've now been to the track twice for a total of 8 runs.
I'm not real consistent yet, but my first time to the track I got a best of

15.624 @ 94.24 mph - 60 ft was 2.561 which is obviously where the biggest problem is.

Second time out, on my final run I got a

15.319 @ 93.82 mph - 60 ft was a 2.406. Not impressive, but I'm getting there.

The 15.624 was run with a 160 extra lbs in the car (passenger). Stock boost (I have a turboxs bov), k&n filter and khumos.

15.319 was run with 3/4 a tank of gas, everything same as last time but no passenger, had put strut bars in and I removed the soccer ball from my car (just listing everything, whether or not it makes a difference).

I hope to hit the track up again one more time before I bring on the mods and actually become fast. I'd like to get as close to a 15.0 with just the filter. No taking out the spare, no lowering my tire pressure, no free mods. But we'll see.

Yeah, I'm kind of like that. I've made somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 stock runs, and the best of them was a 14.8, I've already posted that... But I think the reason was the conditions outside. It was not humid AT ALL and the car felt very strong. I've also ran a 14.9, but for the most part, I stay in the 15.1 to 15.3 area depending on my 60 ft.

Alright....

I know turbos are faster but I got an AEM cold air intake and a greddy evo catback. But whats up with some turbo DSM's running 15.8 and 15.9's. My car is a factory freak but i mean I'm running 15.6-15.8 consistentley. You guys seriously need to learn how to drive your cars. Not baggin' but im just saying you should be running high 14's or low 15,s...NOT HIGH 15'S!!!!!!!!!

But I'm jealous that you guys get to feel boost and I dont becasue I've driven in Turbo cars. WOW.....ITS SO MUCH FUN. cant wait to drop my STAR stage 2 in. Thats gonna be SWEEEEEEEEEET

I raced yesterday for the first time and i run a 14.9@ like 97 mph n o joke !! I cant get traction what so ever that wit a kn filter and a cutout and the boost cranked up some!! I shoulkd be able to hit mid if not low 14's:thumb:

I took the talon out about a month after I got it. Bone stock (except for a clutch), and with a 50% open throttle plate (didn't know at the time), in 100 degree heat:

15.6 @ 88.1

.560 R/t.
1.8 60 Ft.

I'll let you know the new times in a few weeks. :D

Matt.
