Apexi WS wont go over axle

I have tried for 2 hours now to get the axle back part of the apexi ws over the axle. it wont fit because of the size of the flange. have no idea wha else to do.. quite frustrated.

unless it go's underneath the axle which im not aware of. anyone have one on there 2g FWD?

Hey, a friend of mine just installed his apexi n1 exhaust on his gst. The exhaust went under the axle, thru the stock location.. hopes that help.
