is this any good to pick up i have one lined up just want to know if there easy to set up and use

I wouldn't waste your time. Just get dsmlink and be done with it. If you plan on having this car very long you will eventually go that way anyway.

try finding a SAFC II instead... NEO is newer but not much more stuff...just prettier and more expensive...

Lets face it, not everybody can drop 600 bucks on link. If you can get the neo cheap, they are real easy to use, and like xioca said, combine it with a wideband and a datalogger and tune away. Depending on how far you want to go, this may be all you ever need instead of getting link.

Be very careful with the Neo. Initially there was a programming bug that resulted in a non-linear correction factor being applied to airflow changes with the Karmen sensor. Basically, you could do some serious damage to your car because of the coding errors.

If you do buy one, make sure it has the Karmen compatibility on the back and the last 5 digits of the serial number are > 13800. According to Apexi, they have corrected the programming bug in those units.

well i got one for pretty cheap now 300 dollars canadian so im gonna see how she works and if i dont like it i have some honda friends who would love the vtech controll
