Hey guys, so my situation is that I came across a great deal from a guy who's selling me an Apex'i dunk exhaust and Apex'i downpipe all for $250. Thing is, I can't tell whether it's real or fake. I was very excited about it first but later got suspicious all because of the piping. I showed my bro and even he finds it suspicious that there are no mandrel bends but only welds from what we see. I got some pictures so hopefully someone on here can help me out. This is a sweet deal that I would hate to pass up as I've heard many great things about these exhausts and the fact that they don't make them anymore, makes it all the more tempting. I would hate to get ripped off though. Oh and some additional info: the guy said that the exhaust has a brand new O2 sensor as well if this means anything. All the pictures given to me are provided below. Thanks!

I used to own the 5" monster, TRUST me....you will not find a more aggressive muffler than the Dunk.
Even with a stock downpipe an custom made cat back, that bi*** was LOUD.

In a way this kinda' has me scared to install my exhaust being that I live in Cali and all. The cops aren't the most friendly LOL. And on top of that I'll be cat-less and 3" downpipe WTF!!

Guys I have a quick question. I noticed that the O2 sensor is EXTREMELY far away from the flex section of the downpipe. I recently purchased the LC-1 and read the part where they talk about the O2 sensor install. It didn't mention anything about how far away from the turbo. It says:

"Install the bung downstream from the turbo before the catalytic converter. The high exhaust pressure before the turbo interferes with the lambda measurement and the high exhaust temperatures encountered there can damage the sensor. "

Also:

"Do NOT install the Bung below the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock position.
Condensation can form in the exhaust pipe and permanently damage the sensor.
6 o’clock is the absolute worst position to mount the sensor."

I've been reading that a lot of people say to place the O2 sensor about 3 ft from the turbo. Idk if I should keep that sensor where it's at or eliminate it and relocate. Also, if anyone can take a look at the pics I first posted, does it appear that my O2 sensor is installed below 3 or 9 o'clock?

Thanks guys

I run my DUNk without a cat and a full 3" exhaust, 3" dp and tubular o2 that suppose to be a 3" as well and live in Cali too

Wow. Attract any unwanted attention?
