Anyone used spring spacers before?

I thought you had some awesome sauce coilovers?
However, I have not personally used them but have installed two sets for customers. Both drove ok afterwards(of course got aligned too) but then again I only drove them a few miles. Haven't had the customers come back complaining so it must be what they wanted. See one of the two roll into my shop for other services now and then.

I've never used those kind before. I've used the kind you get from autozone, little polyurethane x's that you place between the coils. They work pretty good and so long as they fit snug you wont have to worry about them falling off.

Whatever you do, do not use the rubber ones that go between the coils!! I had a similar issue with my spyder sitting too low in the rear so I bought some similar to the ones below. They ended up splitting in two and was a waste of money.

How much are you trying to raise it?

I saw these on MachV (for Subaru's). Was thinking about making something like this for my car to raise the front up 1/4" or 1/2".

Saggy Butt Spacers - Suspension

This would also be a good idea too. Over at NASIOC and DirtyImpreza there is a lot of info on making them as well.

I don't know a lot about them but we install lifts on gt3's and similar stuff smtimes. They basically serve the same function except they can then raise the front another 1.5 inch or so with the bladder. Customers claim they have no effect on track times. I got to drive turbo S with and without the factory system to 185 mph on a Porsche trip to Germany that I won and they handled themselves no different on the track.

You talking about the ones I linked to or the Subaru shims linked above? Don't know if the upper strut mount bolts are long enough for those shims...

I used these before. I had originally gotten them to raise the front when I had Tanabe springs because it was too low. Then, after I went with cut stock springs :shhh: I had cut the rears too much and it was too low. I moved them to the rear and they held up fine.
