2G Anyone remove their sunroof?

My sunroof rattles so much it drives me crazy. I have removed the slider still rattles less though. When it is closed it rattles, if I press up on the back of it it stops. If I crack it open it stops. It is annoying.

So I was wondering if anyone has ever removed it and replaced it with a manual pop up and close lock.

If so got any writeup I could follow?
I don't want to just seal it with like a carbon fibre plug because I like being able to open it sometimes and see out of it.

I know some people have carbon fiber delete panels. If yours is rattling so much, something is obviously loose. Since it goes away when you push up and when you open it slightly, I think it's reasonable to say the loose parts are along the slide tracks.

Something is loose in your slide track or possibly you have a worn out roller.

I say remove it and have a plug installed, but I hate extra weight above my head and the possibility of sunburn.
