Anyone know what these wires are? Its been killing me....

Hey guys. I have this one power type plug that has been unplugged since I bought my car and it has been bugging the hell outta me trying to figure out what it is for. I have looked in all kind of manuals and stuff and cant figure it out so I figured I would ask you guys. I have not plugged it back in because I figured it is probably out for a reason. However, I did try plugging it in to see if it would do anything and there was no difference.

The wires are on the driver side by the clutch. The connector is above the relay box on the left hand side of the floor. All of the pics below are of the same cable. One is the plug were it goes into, and the other is that actual wire/plug.

I THINK it may be the power cord to my Fog Lights, and it has been disconnected becuase of the fact that my fog light button is missing, even though I do have fog lights. But I am not certain.

try starting your car without pushing the clutch in, make sure it's in neutral! if it starts, it's your clutch safety switch

other than that, i have no idea

Yep. It does start in neutral without the clutch pushed in. So THATS what that wire is! Thanks a lot. btw, think I should hook it back up?

yeah, its safer... so you dont accidentally start your car while its in gear.
