I ordered a set of arp's for 6 bolt rods, and got these, they aren't for a 6 bolt, but there is no way that i am going to get my money back, so i need to know what to sell them as.

I can't tell at all. If you could post a larger detailed pic and also supply us with the part number on the packaging that would be great.

I really don't know how to make the picture bigger, but i can tell you the part number, it is 200-6207 Any help would be very much appreciated. thanks

According to ARP's site they are a general replacement bolt with no specific application.

This is a universal ARP rod bolt. 3/8 thread, 1.5 " under the head length. These won't fit 1g big rods. What are you tring to put them in?

I know for a fact the some aftermarket rods such as Eagle and Scat use this. Eagles and Scat's also use a 3/8 bolt 1.5" long below the head. I would assume the rod bolts you have are for use these types of rods. But other rods such as Manley and Pauter use a 1.6" below the head long bolt.

Minor correction: It's a general replacement bolt kit for steel rods only. ;)

bryanwheat - If you're looking to put ARP hardware on your stock 6-bolt rods, then the ARP part number you want is: 107-6001

The 200-6207 part number is replacement hardware for an aftermarket rod such as the 6-bolt Eagles.

I apologize for bringing this back but I had a question regaurding the same topic. I just bought eagle rods and ross pistons, they come with the standard eagle rod bolts. I was wondering if these will be reliable and fine for around 550hp. I also ordered arp rod bolts, but apparantly for the wrong application as the number is 107-6001. Which set of bolts should I use or should I send the normal ones back and get the correct ARP's? If the ones that come with the set (from slowboy) are fine thats plenty as I can use the money from the ARP's for something else. Thanks guys. :coy:

The eagle rods come with ARP hardware. There's no need to replace the bolts unless they are damaged.

Great thanks for the help, I was just wondering because they look different. Thanks for saving my @ss 99gst_racer.

yeah, i knew that they weren't for a 6 bolt, i buy 6 bolt arp's all of the time, just picked those up from a random guy that said they were for a 6 bolt stock rod, and gave me a dsmn good price on them. I was like what the heck is this as soon as i took them out of the package. I guess that is what i get for trying to go the cheap route. LOL. I already got the correct ones on the way from forced performance. Thanks for all of the help. Oh yeah, the guy actually refunded me the money for the rod bolts.
