Anyone know the size of 14B oil line fitting??

Hey i've been searching and searching and all i hear is banjo bolt...I have a 420A that i'm turboing, using the 14B turbo, i know i need a tee fitting for the back of the motor to screw in the sensor socket, and the oil line, but does anyone know what size fitting i need to the oil lines? i don't see how a banjo bolt will bolt onto a tee fitting. This confuses me. It's pretty much the last step i have in figuring all of this out!..Thanks guys!
 
well, if the 14b is the same center section as a 20G I believe its a M10 or M12 1mm pitch if I remember correctly...took me forever to find the fitting, I finally went down to autozone, raided their fittings box and came up with brake fitting that converted from that to a 1/4" compression fitting...then converted that to 1/4" NPT, and from there to 4AN, hope this helps some

why not just use a banjo bolt that converts to -4an? then run the -4an line to the tee on the back of the bock? makes sense to me
 
ok thanks i'm going to do that for the feed line, does anyone know the sizes for the return line? i haven't recieved the turbo yet, so that is why i don't have the info, thanks for all of your help though you guys rule! i'll post pics of the finished project if you want. It won't be till late July early august till i do it though, due to vacation

should work but the price is so high.. also, the fitting on the the other side (not turbo side) seems a bit big, its made for the dsm oil filter housing but you are tapping off the back of your 2g nt block.
 
Yes, SlowSpyder is correct. The thread is 12mm x 1.25 pitch. If you don't want to use a banjo fitting anymore, just get a straight fitting for a Del Orto carburetor (same thread and pitch) and then run your 4AN braided hose from there. I've built many many feed line kits for the 2G's w/ 14b's, and I've done it a few different ways. I'll get some pics posted up this afternoon of the fitting ends I used. :thumb:

Use a 10AN brained hose for the return (roughly 1/2" ID). You will need the flanges that attach the line to the turbo's CHRA and to the oil pan......
 
Thanks alot, just what i'm looking for, for the straight fitting for the oil feed, DO i just go to autozone and ask for a del orto carburator fitting? Does the other end fit 4an hose?
And where could i get the piece to attatch to the turbos CHRA for drain line?

Here are some of the available part numbers: (you only need one of the below)

Earls = 991945
XRP = 700903

That will be a 12mm x1.25 to a #6 AN. You will then need to reduce that #6 to a #4. Here are those available part numbers: (you only need one of the below)

Earls = 9892064
XRP = 995006
Aeroquip = FCM2408 (steel)
