anyone know the size of a wrx tmic?

i might be able to get a good deal online on a wrx intercooler but im not sure of the size of them. Are they big enough that they would be worth converting into a FMIC for our cars? When ive seen them on wrxs they look kinda big, i dunno just a thought. Any ideas?

i dont think its a good idea. the outlets are on the top and the bottom. you would have to run some really custom piping.

They are VERY small and not even worth trying to make a front mount out of.. I'll go check my WRX and come back wit h the measurements.

Its not how big the core is, it is how efficient it is. That TMIC barely is efficient enough stock, let alone trying to have it cool a bigger turbo. If you want something good for 400hp and cheap, get an EVO 8 FMIC.
