I'm still kind of undecided I'm working 50 hours a week getting paid minimum wage and want something better to do. my plan is joining for 2 years and going to school to be a mechanic.

thats a great plan.. and the sweet thing is that you can use all of the garage stalls for your own car after duty hours. Its AWESOME

I would say it sucks you had to go to tech school at sheppard, but I've been perma party here for over two years, so I got the shit end of the stick, LOL!

Lol yea there aint sh*t to do around there. Sheppard sucked. Sorry to hear you were stationed there..

Still am, but I have orders to Travis AFB which is CALI! Too excited for that. I been here since may 2008. Keesler was my tech school.

Thanks for your service!

I have almost 13 years in the National Guard.

Started as a AH-1F repairer and crew chief, then OH-58C, and then AH-64A.

Now I'm A CW2 and trained to fly the AH-64A Apache and the AH-64D Apache Longbow. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

im a 15t, blackhawk crewchief. which means i actually get to fly in the bird i work on haha, sorry to you oh and ah guys, i had to laugh when i read that you guys said you were crew chiefs hahahaha. when i read that i was trying to figure out how the hell you flew on them, since theres only two seats in each one..... but yea, currently stationed in germany. great fun but i miss america.

I'm sorry you feel you have to insinuate your elevated status and attempt to tarnish the job title of men and women who work very hard and take much pride in their work because they don't ride along in the back.

Good job being that guy.

Also, AH/OH crew chiefs occupied the front or left seat of an AH-1F or OH-58A/C respectively. It wasn't always 58D's and 64's.

I served in the Army for 7 years as a 33W (now 35t) Intel Electronics Repairer.
Got out back in 2005, but I have continued to work on Army owned Unmanned Aerial Systems (Hunter and Shadow) as a contractor.
It is an exciting field, and if any of you can re-class into it I recommend it.
Thank you all for your service.

projekt1.. i plan on joining infantry when my EOD contract is up in about 1 1/2 years. Ive wanted the blue chord since i was 16 years old so i joined EOD so i have demolition experience and i can be a Cpl. or Sgt. by the time i re-enlist as 11B

Its funny because you have what looks to be an expert or combat infantry badge on in that pic. And your EOD? I am either missing something or very very confused.

25M/ 25B (Signal Corps) E-5 getting ready for my second mobilization. Also trying to sneak in my WOCS before deployment :hellyeah:
