I'm a Pfc. in the U.S. Army and I was just wondering how many people on this forum are currently in the service. My M.O.S. is 89D (Explosive Ordnance Disposal Specialist or EOD)
I love my military career and enjoying hearing about others that are in in too.
I uploaded a pic of myself in my fatigues
projekt1.. i plan on joining infantry when my EOD contract is up in about 1 1/2 years. Ive wanted the blue chord since i was 16 years old so i joined EOD so i have demolition experience and i can be a Cpl. or Sgt. by the time i re-enlist as 11B
11Banger, please PM me a link to what you are talking about. Specifically, these pictures.
Thanks in advance.
. That picture is the "future solider" picture with the recruiters blouse. Go back a couple pages and you'll see he catches crap every couple posts.Everybody should listen to this song military or not.
It describes the horrible things are troops sometimes Have to do to protect there own lives.
They come into situations that we as non military could not imagine and I respect them greatly for it.

Im sure some will have an opinion of negativity but we should all have and understanding for there Bravery.
Wait so you where in EOD but uploaded a picture with a CIB on? Yet you stated you are GOING to reclass to 11b? So whos ate up right now? & a green tee-shirt with a white one under? really.....
Also lets go over a few things...
So you have a CIB, Air Assult, & airborne..
So you went to basic 9 weeks, then EOD school is 8 months of training, then seeing how you have a CIB on in 2010 i'm going to assume you did a 12 or 15 month deployment. Air assult is 3 weeks, then air borne is 2 weeks. So some how you have managed to do all this as a PFC? Spc is 2 years TIS... So please explain to me how you managed to do all of this.. Including getting a CIB as a EOD tech.. Then i see your post from 2012 clearly saying you are still a EOD tech...
