Anyone have problems with 1g rods/2g pistons?

Did anybody ever have problems with fuel or anything when they installed high compression pistons? I just bought a scat rods/ross 8.5:1 .30 over pistons just wondering If Im going to need anything upgraded so when I fire my car up itll run good for the break in period.

I don't think anyone would consider 8.5:1 "high compression." In other words, don't worry about it.
