Jeez.. You guys need to get a job... LOL... Leaches..

Anyways, yeah.. It's an awesome game.. I haven't played online yet so I'm hoping thats sweet. I started with the 240sx and have stage 1 everything on it and a stage 2 ECU. The tunablilitys is great in this game on the dyno/test area. You can do a lot of suspension, ECU, Turbo adjustments for each gear and everything.. It's nuts.. But I just choose the default setups before I go race. Setups include (Drift, Street X, Circuit, and Drag - I think). Then I hit those races with that setup. The drifting is WAY more fun in this version. As you know your actuall drifting with other cars. Brook Boorke (sp) is a good commentator but all you see is a comic book style pictures of her.. I haven't seen one video of her yet?? Lots of good dialogue from her but I want her in video...

BTW, you don't have to drive to each race.. you can just use world map and go directly into each race. Flipping sweet game. :thumb:

Also, just tricked out My Escalade but it sucks for tight courses with lots of turns.. Pretty pimp looking though.

How do you go directly to each race??? I've been using the GPS but it kind of gets annoying driving all over. I need to know where the paint shop is too because I can't stand the maroon corolla I have.

The shops with the red lights is where you can paint the car, if you run out of races that means you have to get your car to a certain amount of stars (the looks thing) to get on a magazine cover and move on.

I unlocked the eclipse finally and it kicks ass! i'm so happy!

too bad i have to f-ing study instead of play

FutureGSXOwner~ download winrar from filemirrors.com... its like winzip but has like 10 more files that it decompresses.

I also started with the 240... havn't played a lot yet, still have all stage 1 crap.

Same i started with the 240 as well. It has everything already stage 2 wise anyway still trying to unlock all the extreme packages. I decided on the 240 because on nfsu1 i did the miata. I already have the supra and the GSX and they are both nice. When it comes to circuit, drag, drift i use that supra for that. My gsx and the 240 are autox only. Overall i like the game but the damn city is huge. It took me like 10 hours just to unlock coal harbor and some of the performance upgrades. As for the star ratings i kinda hate that as i don't like to "rice" my cars soo much. But when you have to move onto the next level theres no option:(. Hopefully i can finish the game tonight :thumb:

wow.... unlocked a lot oh shit quick. I just got the Tiburon... traded my Escalade. I like the game a lot more then NFSU1 but still think SRS is mor realistic.

I only got Stage 1 upgrades right now. I played for an hour before work yesterday and I got all the Stage 1 upgrades except for the turbo which I unlocked today. I found all the shops so I'm good now, well at least I found all the different shops. There's probably more then one graphics, specialties, and body shop but I've only found three performance shops. Anyways post some screens of your guys car your current using. Here's my Corolla...

How is the game online wise? Two guys at EB told me the game was lack luster in general, but I still may get it anyway.Probably only if you can use your upgraded cars online or not?Or do you have to stick with stock cars when playing online?

Ok...guys help again. I have a .bin and a .cue file for each of the CD's. Do I need to convert them BOTH to .ISO format and then burn them or is there an easier way to do it? Grr..

I usually just use daemon tools (not dejontool). It's a virtual drive emulator, what it does is load the .bin file and show it in your My Computer as another cd drive. I install it this way and then burn the .bin file using CloneCD. I keep the .bin file loaded and then use CloneCD to copy from that virtual drive.

someone post a screen cap of the map with all the shops on it. i cant find any of the other shops besides the ones it shows you to begin with.

over all i think the game has WAY to much story and not enough actual driving stuff. and having to sit through BROOKE BURK telling me to drive safely i wanted to puke. atleast on the last one they had a FMV using an actual race car driver to say the safety message. i also hate when games dont let me play. if i wanna watch a movie, ill rent a movie, if i wanna play a game i dont wanna be watching a movie i wanna be playing. they can do voice overs and whatever to get the "story" across or whatever but dont make mandatory videos for me to watch. i dont care.

Wow, we've got some SERIOUS pirating noobs on here :p !! Here, these are the 3 most important programs for getting downloaded games to work:

-WinRar
-Magic ISO (this is WAY better than other ISO reading programs)
-Nero

If you can't get a game you downloaded working burned with one or all of those programs, then you don't deserve to be downloading games at all :p jk, jk.. Seriously though, if anyone has trouble getting this stuff to work, PM me..

P.S. if you have bin and cue files, go into Nero > Recorder > "Burn Image" > then located and select ONLY the cue file. Happy pirating! :thumb:

does anyone know if there is an srt-4 in this game? I have the game sitting on my desk right by the computer since yesterday when I finsihed downloading and burned it but I just bought a ps2 yesterday as well and didnt have time to do anything but fire up the ps2 for a couple mins and go to sleep, so I guess I will try to play the game today, but I also have mgs3 on reserve,, which comes out this week, so Im guessing I wont have much time to play nfsu2.

I don't think there's an SRT-4 in the game because I have all the cars up to the new Mustang GT and no SRT-4 yet.. So, I'm guessing not.

I'll just drop two pictures in:

BTW, the 3000gt has 460hp and the Stang has 450 :D

I finally figured out how to race without driving to each race...you have to be in your Garage and go to World Map and then choose whatever race you haven't completed. I've only got a few Stage 2 upgrades now...didn't play at all today though.

Yeah, if anybody is wondering why my 3000gt looks totally ghey, its because I need to have AT LEAST one show car for visual rating purposes... Notice the visual rating dif between the stang and the 3000gt... ;)

Yeah even though I need one show car I still don't want my car looking like crap...my corolla is at around 2.4 only .

Oh yeah I tried playing the game with a steering wheel, hella fun if you go up to the hills (forgot what the part of the city is called) where the downhill drifting takes place and just free run it.

Go to the store and pay the 30 dollars, instead of wasting your time downloading it. You are wasting time you will need to experience this awsome game.
