I was wondering if any of you guys with the 2.5" o2 dump have gotten boost creep after putting it on, im getting horrible boost creep every time my car shifts (a/t) it will fly up to 20 psi when im set at 15. Thanks for the help.

I have read that and i understand what boost creep is.. but im not sure if i want to go with a 34mm flapper that will cost me $120 that will add no hp or an external 2.5" or 3" dump that may help me out a little bit for $145.

I have a 3 inch turbo back and a small16g. on stock o2, i would creep past 20 psi if i didnt keep it checked.
this is with avcr set at 14.7 psi

now, with RNR racing 3 inch o2 dump it will NOT creep, UNLESS i run through the gears and drop back to 4th at 6200rpm or so, and keep it wot, it will creep to 20. but WOT 1-5 to 6500 RPM wont creep, only when you drop it back down to 4th

Thanks for the help, i think im goin to get the dump instead of the 34mm flapper, i pray that i dont creep

I have the 34mm upgrade, ported turbine housing, 3inch o2 elim turbo back exhaust...and I still creep....so don't be surprised if you still creep. This is with the evo16g.

hmmm....

ported evo III 16g , 34mm flapper ... GHETTO ported stock 2g o2, 2.5" DP, stock cat, 3" catback...

no creep

i had ~3 psi creep with the testpipe in.. so that may be a problem

*oh, and just because it doesn't add HP for that price doesn't mean that it's not worth it  what's the point of having a 16G and having creep [ that COULD be prevented/helped with the flapper ]? you wouldn't be able to enjoy the power you make. IMO the flapper is a must.

A larger flapper door makes it so that you can't run more than 16-19 psi of boost, which pretty much sucks. Keep the stock flapper.

An O2 dump probably will not solve boost creep. The restriction that causes boost creep is NOT the O2 housing, the restriction is the stock wastegate hole and exit area. Port the inlet and exit area.

Sorry man but that is totally untrue. Friend of mine runs 24 psi till redline with his evo16g on race gas. He has the 34mm upgrade. I am creeping to 20lbs with the 34mm flapper.

And blcknspo0ln, I didn't creep with the stock exhaust at all with nothing ported. I think the reason why I'm creeping now is because I don't have a cat, resonator=no backpressure. It's basicly a staight pipe from the turbo back. rnr 3inch o2 elim turbo back exhaust to be exact.

You must have a retarded 34mm upgrade, terrible port job, and an internal dump tube.

Dude there is no way u would creep if u had all that. Most of the time all u need to do is port ur exhaust housing on ur turbo to make the air WANT to go through the wastegate hole. If u ported ur exhaust housing properly u wouldnt be creeping.

i sent my turbine housing to SBR...they did the 34mm upgrade and port job. Looked damn good to me.
