o2 housing atmos dump & boost creep

I recently put a 16g on my car and have horrible boost creep. My plan is to remove the internal flapper and have a 50mm external wastegate on the o2 dump pipe.

My question is will the o2 dump pipe alone reduce boost creep with the stock internal wastegate, or will it not make a difference and i will need the external to reduce boost creep.

Who ported it? If it is done properly and the wastegate acuator is functioning properly it shouldn't creep at all.

Vendor port jobs doesn't address boost creep, all it does is port match the inlet to 7cm, boost creep requires porting of different areas of the turbo. The auther of this tech article also started with an "already ported by SBR turbo. This port work is also required for an internal o2 dump to effectively combat boost creep which pretty much renders an O2 dump pointless.

Thanks guys, the boost creep was actually mostly a result of the shop i took it to (rx4 speed in south hampton nj) didn't adjust the actuator arm so the wastegate wasn't even opening, or wasnt opening much. Now only creeps to 20psi which i can deal with. Moral of the story, trust no one.
