Decided to change the oil an filter after driving it for a month. Previous owner gave me a filter so said screw it. Ran to the store to grab some castrol gtx 10w-30 conventional oil ( love castrol run it in my lt1 ). Start the car up and drive away after oil change and after letting it idle for a few mins (filled filter before install of course). Get to the red light car stalls oil light comes on. Start it back up everything is normal no issues drive away. Stop at the store car sits maybe an hour. Start it up drive away about a mile down the road stalls again check engine light flashes. Start it up drive away no issues. WTF could this be? Theres a random tap up on the top end after oil change. Does not do it all the time and does it only at idle it comes an goes. Not sure if previous owner used conventional or synthetic so not sure if that would be the cause. I just hope it goes away and its nothing serious.:banghead:

Did you whack the oil pressure sender while changing the oil? Could be a bad wire, bad sender, or something was plugged and now it's dislodged.

no didnt whack anything just carefully put the filter on and took it off. Oil that came out was pretty clean and didnt have any issues before. Had the valve cover off last month changing the gasket all looked clean there to no sludge.
