I have a brand new set of Bosch Purple Top injectors, I think they are something like 65lbs or 680cc, something in that ballpark. Anyway, I dont know anything about them, are they worth a shit to try to sell them?

I run the beige/green top Bosch injectors (1600cc) and they are good. 680cc injectors are fairly popular for many different makes and models. I don't see any reason why someone would not want them.

Nordicsaab you are literally the first person i have EVER heard recommending bosch 1600s.

OP: The smaller ones are probably ok. I would definitely get an ohm meter on them. Ya see: every wonder why bosch 1600s are SO cheap when they come up? Cause they are good at one thing only, no matter what fuel your running: WOT. Idle and cruise even part throttle all complete shit with the 1600s. The resistance is funky. Theyre somewhere in the middle of a low-z and a high-z. Possibly removing the resistor pack would help? Who knows. i have a set sitting in a case in the basement i gotta put up for sale. I even had them flow tested and cleaned by a shop.

If the resistance is nice and low, like a stock injector, those 680s you're looking at should be just fine. They might be hi-z, thats ok too, just wire out the resistor box.

It all depends on application. My car is a legitimate (I.e. Cage, fuel cell, etc.) race car.

I do very little cruising and the idle is close to 1000rpm. They are good for what I'm doing. I'm sure there are better options depending on the profile you are looking for but I've never had an issue with Bosch in any of my cars.

The OP was asking if the injectors are worth anything and you agreed with me they are. My post was not intended to be a glowing recommendation for my injectors.

One thing I will say is there are many counterfeit Bosch injectors, the real ones are very different from the counterfeits

My bad, Nordic. No intention to offend or come off rude. ha, seriously, ive never seen someone give them any praise.
Since you are setup for more race and less street then yes, i agree. The WOT on the 1600s is dead nuts on and for you they are probably perfectly suited.
There are boschs out there, rare albeit, that have a resistance of around 2ohms. MOST, have around 5.5 which makes it tough to idle/cruise and they jump around quit a bit.

For all intents and purposes OP, the ones you are looking at are fine for your needs.
